Kris Ann Valdez is a desert-dwelling Arizona native, wife, and mother. Her essays and poetry have appeared, or are forthcoming, in Calla Press Literary Journal, Motherwell, Ekstasis Magazine, Tempe Library/A.S.U. Anthology, Motherly, among others. Her novel-length work is represented by Allison Remcheck of Stimola Literary Agency. Kris Ann co-created The Writerlies and actively attends Pen-in-Hand and the Central Phoenix Writer Workshops.
